A&V-1 3 1/2" tall, oval shape, ABM, screw
top with
original metal cap. Clear glass bottle with original content,
full label and advertising pamphlet. I have only opened the top of the box to
see if the bottle was a cork or screw cap. I have not pulled anything out of the
box and assume that it is all complete with full content in bottle. Of course,
this is only for collecting purposes and not for actual use. I have had some of
these bottles in the past and they have all been embossed the same way.
So,....... embossed on bottle: " HUMPHREYS / HOMEOPATHIC
/ embossed picture of a horse head / VETERINARY / NEW YORK &
RIO DE JANEIRO " The first two pictures so the actual box that is
marked "A. A." "For Simple Fevers" and has everything inside. The other 3
pictures are examples of what is inside the box, minus the pamphlet and are not
the actual item for sale. Super mint
condition bottle, box and pamphlet. Very unusual piece to find complete!
$45.00
A&V-1A 3 1/2" tall,
not counting the cork, oval shape, BIM, with original cork in top of bottle
marked F. F. Clear glass bottle with
full label that is about 99% there and very readable. Embossed on bottle: " HUMPHREYS / HOMEOPATHIC
/ embossed picture of a horse head / TRADE MARK /
VETERINARY " Pictures so the actual label that is marked " F. COLIC
F. / BELLY ACHE / WIND BLOWN ". Bottle is in super mint
condition, just a little dirty. Another nice Veterinary piece!
The label shown in the first picture is not yellow. See last picture for correct
color.
SOLD
A&V-2 Glass Bird Feeder 6 1/4" tall, light orange amber
glass with the applied top handle, shoulder and base being of a darker
coloration. Smooth base that is uneven and textured. No embossing. Feeder is in
super mint condition with some nice swirls and specks to the glass. A nice,
different item. SOLD
A&V-3 Bottle is 6 1/4" tall, rectangle shape with 3
indented panels. Bottle is blown in a mould, clear glass with original content,
full front & back labels, box and how to use pamphlet. Of course, this is only
for collecting purposes and not for actual use. Embossed on left side of bottle : "
DR. HESS & CLARK " Embossed on right side : " ASHLAND, O. USA "
The front and back of the bottle has full labels that are marked "DR. HESS
DISTEMPER, FEVER AND COUGH REMEDY " ect. The box is in pretty good condition
except it is dirty with age and the top has been opened and is a little rough.
Also, the tabs have fallen off ( I have the tabs ). The pamphlet, labels and
bottle are in mint
condition. As stated, the box is a little rough but still very nice. Another unusual piece to find complete!
SOLD
A&V-3A The box is 7" tall. I have not
opened or pulled anything out of the box and assume that it is all complete with
full content in bottle, front & back labels, how to use pamphlet and box. Of
course, this is only for collecting purposes and not for actual use. Since I
have basically the same bottle listed above I would assume that it would be
embossed the same way. So,....... embossed on left side of bottle : "
DR. HESS & CLARK " Embossed on right side : " ASHLAND, O. USA "
The front and back of the bottle has full labels that would probably be marked
"DR. HESS COLIC REMEDY " ect. One of the contents listed on the box is "
CANNABIS INDICA " The box is in near mint condition except it is dirty with age
and the very top flap has been opened but not the rest of the box. I would
assume that the pamphlet, labels and bottle are in mint
condition also. SOLD
A&V-4 (WESTERN HORSE BOTTLE) 7" tall, BIM, rectangle form with
beveled edges and 4 indented panels. Bottle has a tooled square
collar lip ( almost applied ) and smooth base. There is a streak of tobacco in
the glass that runs from the lip of the bottle into the shoulder area. Shown in
the last picture. Embossed on front : "H. H. H.
/ (on side) HORSE MEDICINE / (on back) THE CELEBRATED
/ (on side) D. D. T. 1868 " Bottle has a chip
on the left corner base on the H. H. H. side of the bottle. Not bad. Bottle
displays in mint condition. No other problems such as, cracks, scratches, stain or dings. A nice western
horse medicine bottle.
