FO- 1 Mustard Barrel 5 1/2" tall, BIM, light yellow / green color glass, 1 pint barrel form with five rings around shoulder and 5 rings around the base. Bottle has a crude ring lip and smooth base. No embossing. A very nice bottle that is in mint condition. SOLD FO- 1A Mustard 5" tall, open pontil, with a crude, outwardly rolled lip. Aqua glass. Bottle is not embossed but was used for mustard. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or heavy stain. There are spots of light haze and nice swirls through out the bottle which you can see in the pictures. The only thing wrong with this piece would be a open bubble up near the shoulder. A nice circa 1850's bottle. SOLD FO- 2 WESTERN OYSTER JAR 4 7/8" tall, ABM, clear glass, square form with rounded corners, pint jar. Jar has a smooth lip that is tapered for a metal snap closure. Embossing on all 4 panels reads: "CERTIFIED QUALITY ( above embossed oyster ) / PACIFIC / OYSTERS ( inside of embossed oyster ) / ONE PINT ( embossed at base on one panel only ) " Base is embossed with: " PACIFIC COAST / OYSTER GROWERS / ASSOCIATION / N W " Jar is dead mint! Only thing is some rust around top from the rusty metal cap that is included with this piece. A super oyster jar! $35.00 FO-2A SMALL WESTERN OYSTER JAR 4 1/2" tall, 1/4 pint, seam over ABM, aqua color, rounded form. Crown style top to accept a press on metal lid ( no lid ) Embossed on front : BOHEMIAN COCKTAIL & SUPPLY / NET CONTENTS / 4 OZ / S. F. CAL. ". Bottle is in mint condition with a few nice bubbles and some crudeness to the glass. SOLD FO- 3 5 3/4" tall, BIMAL, clear glass, that is turning purple, round form, ring top and a smooth base. Paper label only for : " LYONS' PERFECTION / ROYAL / ANNE / CHERRIES " By the : " E. S. LYONS & RAAS CO. " This bottle is in near mint condition with only a small flake missing from the underside of the lip. Otherwise, there are no chips, cracks or dings or stain. The label is in good condition with only a few spots of the edges missing and some spotty staining. A larger piece is missing from the neck label. Please see my pictures. Bottle and label display very well. Circa 1910. $18.00 FO- 4 Western Pickle / Vinegar Jug 9" tall, brown & white glaze, 1 gallon, wide mouth pottery jug. Round jug with applied handle. Has blue color lettering which says : " KNIGHT PACKING CO. ( in an arch ) / PICKLES / VINEGAR, ECT. / PORTLAND, - OREGON " A wonderful jug with nice stipple texture to the brown glaze. Jug is in near mint condition with the only thing keeping it from being mint is about 2 small spots of missing glaze around the handle area, a few pecks here and there around the jug and one on the top. These can be seen in picture 3 & 4. There is also some rust spots on the white glaze near the base. These are not bad and only noted for accuracy. A rare jug from the late 1800's. $125.00 FO- 4A Horseradish Crock 4 1/4" tall, with the lid on, round mini ceramic crock form, brown glaze on lid and top of crock, white glaze on main body. Glaze fired writing says: " As You Like It " / ( trade mark ) / HORSE-RADISH. " Lid embossed: " Weir Patent 92 ". Jar is mint, lid has four small chips, the wire bale is rusty. This is a very nice crock! $60.00 FO- 5 Rare Western Extract 5 1/2" tall, clear glass with a very crude ring lip and a smooth base. Side panels are indented but the front panel is the only panel embossed. It reads: " THE / NORTHROP & STURGIS (within a banner) / COMPANY'S / FLAVORING EXTRACTS / PORTLAND, OREGON " This is a rare, unlisted in Zumwalt's book, "Ketchup Pickles Sauces", extract bottle. Near mint condition with a few spots of inside dirt on the back panel ( looks like it would clean with a scrubbing). Does have a very crude, tooled lip that at first glance looks like it is chipped. It is not, just done in manufacturing. A small chip is present on the right side corner on the back of the bottle. Displays mint. A nice western extract bottle. $30.00 FO- 6 4 5/8" tall, aqua color, square form with a very crude lip. Embossed in indented front panel : " INDIAN / ROOT BEER / EXTRACT " A nice bottle in near mint condition. Only thing that I can see are two small pot stones in the lip. This not a problem but some folks would like me to mention this. A rare root beer bottle with the word Indian on it! $35.00 FO- 7 ( same as above ) 8" tall but a darker teal color. Picture shows color being lighter than it is. This bottle is in near mint condition with only a slight inside haze in one corner and some rubbing wear around the lip. These are only mentioned for total accuracy and do not take anything away from this nice bottle. No other problems to mention. $70.00 FO- 7A 1870's Pepper Sauce 9" tall, BIMAL, aqua glass, Smooth base, with a nice, drippy, applied double collar lip. Six sided, hexagonal form with 3 levels of gothic arched panels. The two top levels having 6 gothic arched panels with what looks like a flower pattern in it. The bottom level has 6 gothic arched panels that are blank for a label. Un-embossed! A nice bottle that is in super mint condition. There are some nice bubbles in the glass. Also, there is some nice whittle to the glass that adds character to this piece. In my picture of the lip, it looks like there are grinding marks. Those are actually air bubbles that did not photograph well. My pictures do not show the true beauty of this bottle! . $85.00 FO- 7B 1850's Open Pontil (Same as above but open pontiled!) BIMAL, also has an applied double collar lip. 9" tall, aqua glass, six sided, hexagonal form with 3 levels of gothic arched panels.The two top levels having 6 gothic arched panels with what looks like a flower pattern in it. The bottom level has 6 gothic arched panels that are blank for a label. Un-embossed! A nice bottle that is in super mint condition. There is some nice whittle to the glass that adds character to this piece. In my picture of the lip, it looks like there are grinding marks. Another nice pepper sauce bottle. $120.00 FO- 7C 10 3/8" tall, BIMAL, aqua glass, Smooth base that has a ring in the center and looks like maybe a re-fired pontil? Has a nice, drippy, applied double collar lip. Six sided, hexagonal form with 6 arched panels that run from the base of the bottle up to the bulbous neck. The 6 arched panels are blank for a label. Un-embossed! A nice bottle that is in near mint condition. Also, there are some nice bubbles and whittle to the glass. These all add character to this piece. There are two (2 ) very small pot stones. One of them has two, very small, legs coming from potstone. I had to look through a magnifying glass to see them. These are not bad and were a "in the making" error. I am sorry about my pictures! They do not show the true beauty of this bottle! . SOLD FO- 7D Circa 1850's 8 1/8" tall, BIMAL, with a open pontil base. Aqua glass. Has a nice applied lip and two rings that run around the neck. Bottle has eight (8) bulbous panels around bottle that run from the base to the shoulder. Embossed on shoulder : " W. K. / LEWIS & CO. " A nice bottle from Boston that is in super mint condition. There are a lot of nice bubbles in the glass. Also, there is some nice whittle to the glass. These all add character to this piece. I am sorry about my pictures! They do not show the true beauty of this bottle! . SOLD FO- 8 (Rare Olive Oil) 9 1/8" tall, BIM, with a whiskey style tooled top and a smooth base. Clear glass that is turning amethyst. Embossed on front within a slug plate : " MUNGER BROTHERS CO. / fancy monogram / PHOENIX, ARIZONA. " Bottle has overall haze with some heavier spots of inside haze. There is a small potstone in the neck that has four (4) small legs coming from potstone. It takes a 10 power glass to see this problem. This is still a nice bottle that is very difficult to obtain! No other problems. $80.00 FO- 9 6 3/4" tall, BIM, rounded form with a ring lip & smooth base, bright honey amber color glass. Embossed on front : " SKILTON FOOT & CO. / TRADE MARK / picture of Bunker Hill / BUNKER HILL PICKLES " Near mint condition with only a few light scratches and two light spots of interior haze. Loads of nice bubbles, texture and light coloration, give this bottle some nice eye appeal. $100.00 FO- 9A 5 3/8" tall, BIM, rounded form with a ring lip & smooth base, clear glass, turning purple. Embossed on front : " SKILTON FOOT & CO. / TRADE MARK / picture of Bunker Hill / BUNKER HILL PICKLES " Near mint condition with only a few very light spots of interior haze. Some nice bubbles and texture add character to this small pickle bottle. A rare little pickle bottle in clear glass! $90.00 FO- 10 Western Spice Bottle A large 8 1/4" tall, BIM, rectangle form, yellow / orange glass with a tooled ring lip and smooth base. Embossed on the base : " CLOSSET & DEVERS ". Embossed on the front with : Monogram with intertwined " C & D ". Unlisted in Zumwalt's book, "Ketchup Pickles Sauces ". This firm was located in Portland Oregon & Seattle Washington. They produced a number of different products. From, spices to tea & coffee. I have never seen another one of these bottles. Most of their products were put in tins. This must be a scarce bottle? A nice color and loaded with large bubbles! It is in near mint condition with only a chip of glass missing from the top of the lip. This can be seen in my 3rd picture. No other chips, cracks, dings or stain. Circa 1900. $25.00 FO- 11 Berry Bottle 10 3/4" tall, BIMAL, round, cylinder form with an applied ring lip and smooth, uneven base. Yellow / green color glass. No embossing on this bottle. Near mint condition because there is a 5/8" flash that is located just under the lip. This is not bad and noted for accuracy only. It was done " in the making " and hard to see. Otherwise, no other problems. There are some nice folds in the glass and some large bubbles that add character to this piece. What a nice color also! SOLD FO- 16 5" tall with lid, squat, round pint jar. Clear glass with a smooth lip, original wire bail for an old style lightning seal. Embossed in slug plate on the front : " MRS. CHAPIN'S / SALAD DRESSING / BOSTON, MASS. " Embossed " TIGHT " on front and back of the neck. Jar is in super mint condition. $18.00 FO-17 5 " tall, with lid on, rounded pint form jar with a smooth lip, screw threads and metal lid. Clear glass with a green ACL label ( applied ceramic label ). Front label says : " MARQUIS / "MARKEE" / SANDWICH / SPREAD / ONE PINT / MARQUIS PRODUCTS CO. / PORTLAND OREGON " Back says : " LIKE YOU MAKE AT HOME / WE WILL PAY / 5c / FOR EMPTY JAR " Nice jar in super mint condition! ACL label is in mint condition also. $30.00 FO- 18 1/2 GALLON MASON'S BUTTER JAR 8 3/4" tall, without lid, light yellow green color, NOT aqua! Ground, wide mouth lip with original glass insert & screw band that are in mint condition. Glass insert is the same color as the jar and is embossed : " MASON'S IMPROVED / MAY 10 1870 " Jar is embossed on front : " MASON'S / C F J Co (monogram) / IMPROVED / BUTTER JAR " Jar is in near mint condition with only a few minor flakes around the ground lip. I believe do to the grinding process. There is a open bubble on the right side. Only mentioned for accuracy, these do not take anything away from this rare jar in an unlisted color. $300.00 FO- 18A QUART MASON'S BUTTER JAR 5 " tall, Squat quart jar, blue aqua color glass, ground, wide mouth lip with original glass insert & screw band. Unfortunately, glass insert is in pieces. It broke while sitting in the window. It is all there but needs gluing. Glass insert is embossed : " MASON'S IMPROVED / MAY 10 1870 " Jar is embossed on front : " MASON'S / C F J Co (monogram) / IMPROVED / BUTTER JAR " Jar is in near mint condition with only a small scratch on the back and one, very minor flake at the ground lip. I believe do to the grinding process. There is also a small burst bubble on the left side. A few inches from the " S " in MASON'S. Only mentioned for accuracy, these do not take anything away from this rare jar. Except for the glass lid! Glass is very wavy and whittled. $140.00
FO- 19 GILCHRIST JAR Quart jar, 6 1/2" tall, smooth lip, wide mouth. Aqua in color. Has original Gilchrist zinc lid with inverted milk glass dome to hold fruit below the juice line. Lid and dome are in good condition. Jar is embossed with the monogram : " G J C o " For the Gilchrist Jar Co. Jar is in near mint condition with a few very minor flakes missing on the very top of the jar. other than that the jar is mint. There is also a factory defect on the threads of the jar. A couple of places the mould did not fill with glass and left a couple of indentations. A nice jar with a very hard to get complete lid. SOLD FO- 20 Midget Mason 1858 5 1/4" tall, without lid, light aqua glass, ground lip with a smooth base that has embossed: " PAT. NOV. 26 67 with 59 in the center " Embossed on front: " MASON'S / PATENT / NOV. 30th / 1858 " Back has a embossed "CROSS" with H F J Co. Made for the HERO FRUIT JAR Co. Lid is rusted but complete and also has the milk glass insert that is cracked ( see second picture ). A wonderful jar that is in near mint condition! Just some very minor, in the making, chips to the ground lip and a few light scratches. Around the base, there looks to a few minor pitting or discolored bubbles. This is hard to describe but none of these thing detract from this nice midget jar. Some nice texture, whittle to the glass and quite a few air bubbles makes it an eye appealing jar. $45.00 FO- 21 CALIFORNIA MASON JAR Quart size, smooth lip, aqua glass picture jar, embossed: " MISSION / TRADE / picture of a bell / MARK / MASON JAR / MADE IN CALIFORNIA " Embossed on base: " MFD. BY W. J. LATCHFORD CO. LOS ANGELES CALIF. " Jar is in super mint condition with no problems at all! Some texture and folds in the glass add character to this piece. A nice western food jar. $18.00
