You don't see these small wine bottles every day! $65.00 6 (Nice Pocket Mirror) A nice whiskey go-with! 1 3/4" pocket mirror in good condition. Label under glass advertises " AS YOU LIKE IT / OLD CRANE / WHISKEY / GUARANTEED PURE" with a large picture of a crane or stork. Opposite side has a mirror. All held together with a round steel band. The glass has three very small flakes on the edges. One above the letter K in like, another below the letter R in guaranteed and the third next to the left foot of the crane. The mirror has a few spots of discoloration due to age. None of these are bad, just noted for accuracy. The color of the label is bright and clean. A very hard item to find in this condition. $75.00 8 7 3/4" tall with metal cap on, orange amber glass which gets a lighter amber towards the sides of the bottle. A tooled worm threaded top with a cork lined metal cap. Smooth base has embossed on it " PCGW "( Pacific Coast Glass Works ). Embossed on front in a round slug plate : " J. J. Mc CAFFREY & SON / 634 STATE ST. / SANTA BARBARA " A California whiskey flask that was made for a sporting goods store that sold whiskey to their clients. A nice bottle in near mint condition. There is a very small base chip on the back side of the bottle and some inside dirt that would clean out. You don't see to many whiskey flasks from Santa Barbara! This is only the second one of these I have seen in my years of collecting. $125.00 9 7" tall ( without stopper ), tooled ring lip that has been ground inside to hold the glass stopper that is also a barrel shape, clear glass, barrel shaped flask. ( trade mark of the Pacific Coast Glass Works ) Embossed on the front within a horse shoe : " 18 / SPRUANCE STANLEY & CO / 69 " (in center) WHOLESALE / LIQUOR DEALERS / SAN FRANCISCO / CAL " Bottle is in mint condition with only a few very minor scratches. Bottle will not stand up so I would think that it would be a pocket flask. Embossed very lightly above dorsal fin : " PAT APPL " A very nice, ornate figural nipper in near mint condition. The only thing wrong, if you can call it wrong, are three chips on the very top. I think that they are due to the grinding process. Embossed on front within a circle and around a embossed crown & shield : " LILIENTHAL & CO. / DISTILLERS " Bottle is in near mint condition with only a small chip on the very underneath heal at the base. Inside the shield is a monogram " L&CO " A wonderful western whiskey bottle that has no chips, cracks, dings, or stain. The applied lip, at the very top edge, has a couple of in the making debits or folds which make it out of round. I don't know how a cork would completely seal the bottle. A small spot of rust exists on the back towards the base and a little in the lip. Not bad, only mentioned for accuracy. Also, a line of tobacco or dirt in the lip and also on the front towards the base gives the appearance of a flash in the glass but under a magnifying glass they are from tobacco or pieces of dirt. $225.00 13 5 1/8" tall, clear glass, flask shaped with a ABM top and a smooth base? Bottle is completely covered in a paper mache type material that looks like bark except for the front that has a canvas material applied to it that has a hand painted eagle on it. I am not sure, but this piece looks to be done by a Native American. Bottle is in mint condition and so is the paper mache, except for dirt from age. It could be cleaned with some TLC. but I think that this adds character and age to this piece! I believe this bottle is of western origin. It came from a collection in California where there was also many locally made Indian items. $95.00 14 10 1/4" tall, clear glass, rectangle form with a tooled double collar lip and smooth base.
